You know, I was surprised how many people enjoyed my design of the character Rothe Windest.  I was very baffled, seeing as how I didn't think he was THAT great of a hook, but I guess he was.  For the last month or so, he's occupied my mind, and strangely enough...I've written an entire gigantic story about him...which I intend to tell.  I was originally planning on doing his thing separately, taking low priority and whatnot.  But I have to admit...I REALLY like what I made for him, not the least of which is a rather interesting cast of characters and a storyline with a resolute beginning, middle and end, and many different tales to tell along

I know I've been gone a long time, but I've been working on various things over this time.  Namely, I'm aiming to continue my pokemon underground comic, but I have made some big changes.  I want to be a comic that can update every week, and in order to do so, I needed a convenient and quick style that still looks good enough for me to want to submit it ^_^  So I am actually redoing my initial two pages and using a brand new and quicker style that not only makes it easier to draw them, but in my opinion, opens a lot of opportunity artistically.  It also means every page will be full color ^_^ Secondly, I know that I dropped out of this site a

Ah well, I didn't make it past round one of the competition.  I'm sorely disappointed, but not so much in my loss, just what the judges said I lost for (as best I have heard).  Apparently, having Wax in a bawling rage at the end of the comic was so out of character for him that it cost me the match, in spite of him being a whiny brat who can't handle pain.  I personally think that this evidences that the judges MAYBE didn't look over the character sheets nor the entries in a whole lot of detail, and mostly I think this means they were rushed.  Judging seems the most important part of any competition, and I feel that in their hurry to get the
